i don't know why i hated this book. it has everything that i love in a story. a hot male love interest, a slightly weak then suddenly strong female lead, and asshole ex-boyfriend, and the lovable side characters with an over dramatic plot. but all of these things did not work for me in this novel.
Lucas was okay. i didn't love him and i didn't hate him. he was just there to beat up rapists. Jacqueline was a pain in my ass for the whole book. these two together about made me throw the book across the room. i still don't know what went wrong for me here. maybe it was the writing. or maybe i just wasn't feeling it. total letdown :(
